As Windows XP has now become obsolete, Ardex UK requested DPR to provide operating system upgrades and a Siemens WinCC 6.0 to 7.3 system wide upgrade, including virtualisation of WinCC/PM Servers utilising VMWare ESXi. Also to improve on resilience UPS backup has been fitted to all PLC's and all new SCADA stations. DPR installed and commissioned the new system over a weekend, which went smoothly into full production on Monday morning.
