Hydraulic Mixers Refit

DPR have completed the refit of a hydraulic mixing facility for printing inks at Sun Chemical’s St. Mary Cray site. We replaced the existing mechanical, manual hydraulic controls with electrically actuated proportional valves controlled via a small Siemens PLC and HMI. We also re-piped, fitted and commissioned the hydraulics from each remote power pack to the five mixing units. Another successful, on time, on budget project.
