Packing Line Integration

Our customer required a system to integrate a box filling and packing line. The system comprised of a number of separate units; case erector, bag placer, filling weigher, case sealer, labeller and conveying/elevating system. DPR supplied a Siemens S7-300 PLC with Comfort Panel HMI to integrate and interlock the components and control the conveying motors, providing the operator with one central point from which the line can be started, controlled and monitored.
