DPR have recently delivered a supervised hand weighing system with full SAP integration to a UK fine chemical manufacturing plant.

The process order is selected by barcode scanner and each material and batch number scanned before weighing. A dynamic weighing screen assists the operator to dispense accurately and verifiably, recording actual weights for both local batch records and SAP material consumption updates. Barcode labels are printed locally for material and batch tagging.

The custom interface and sequence was developed with the end user to allow mid-weighing batch changes, handling of pre-weighed bagged materials and activity supervision and tracking.
